Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Buyer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for purchasing goods and materials to ensure our company's operational needs are met efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Use existing bespoke systems to manage procurement activities
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure favourable terms and pricing
- Plan inventory levels to maintain optimal stock levels
- check and manage deliveries
- Maintain accurate records of purchases and pricing.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a Buyer role, preferably within a construction or off site manufacturing company
- Proficiency in using stock control and planning systems
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure cost-effective deals
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to analyse data and make informed purchasing decisions
- Knowledge of logistics processes is advantageous
