An excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a leading manufacturer of agricultural equipment. Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will be responsible for the introduction of new products and updating current products.
The Role
* Creating manufacturing drawings, communicating job requirements clearly and concisely
* Experience in the design and layout of farm buildings and design for the animal flow required
* Read and interpret technical drawings, specify components and ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications
* Manage projects with sales through all stages of the project development, to ensure timely completion of project milestones
* Work in close collaboration with the sales team in the design and layout of new projects
The Person
* Experience as a Design Engineer within manufacturing
* AutoCAD 2D and 3D
* Knowledge of materials and ability to cost projects as required
* Full driving licence
