About the Role:
We are recruiting an Occupational Therapist to work in a dynamic Adult Mental Health Inpatient Service.
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and compassionate therapist with an interest in acute mental health, recovery-focused care, and service development.
The role offers variety, responsibility, and the chance to contribute to both frontline clinical care and the evolution of inpatient services.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver occupational therapy assessments and interventions for adults experiencing acute mental health crises.
* Support clients in preparing for discharge and reintegration into the community.
* Facilitate individual and group-based interventions with a strong focus on meaningful occupation and recovery.
* Contribute to the development of two new therapy suites, with opportunities to shape service environment design.
* Work as part of a committed multidisciplinary team, collaborating with psychiatry, nursing, psychology, and social work colleagues.
* Participate in clinical audit, service evaluation, and best practice initiatives.

Requirements:
Essential Requirements:
* BSc or MSc in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent qualification recognised by CORU)
* CORU Registration (essential)
* Recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy (BSc/MSc or equivalent).
* A genuine interest in adult mental health care and recovery-focused practice.
* Excellent clinical reasoning, communication, and documentation skills.
* A collaborative, person-centred approach to intervention and care planning.
* Proven ability to engage in service development, policy, or leadership.
