We are currently recruiting for a Sales Manager to work across both our properties.
This role requires some Domestic & International Travel but is mainly office-based between Fota Island Resort & The Kingsley.

What we are looking for:
* Previous experience in a similar role within tourism, hospitality, or retail sectors is desirable but not essential
* Proactive, self-motivated individual with the ability to work on their own initiative
* Attention to detail and organizational skills
* Excellent customer service and communication skills, fluent in spoken and written English
* Excellent interpersonal skills
* Full driver’s license with access to own car
* Immaculate grooming
* Third-level diploma in tourism, hospitality, or business or equivalent (desirable)
* Basic computer skills
Responsibilities:
* Account manage new and existing accounts for both Fota Island Resort & The Kingsley
* Manage all client inquiries promptly and professionally
* Create and send proposals to clients
* Follow up to convert and contract business
* Work with onsite Reservations & Events teams to convert inquiries into confirmed bookings
* Organize and conduct client meetings, presentations, site visits, and familiarization trips
* Represent the hotels at networking events, award ceremonies, dinners, and other business events to acquire new business
* Attend trade shows and events locally, nationally, and internationally
* Seek out sales leads from internal sources (Opera, Events, Reservations, Front Office) and media platforms
* Research and target new business opportunities
* Complete weekly and monthly sales reports
* Utilize Opera Cloud (CRM system) fully for recording sales information
* Attend management, revenue, sales, and marketing meetings as required
* Assist in training new sales and events staff
* Support the Events Departments as needed, including proposals, site inspections, and follow-ups
* Achieve set budget goals as outlined in the annual budget
