 
        We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts and Administration Assistant to provide accounting and administrative support across multiple business entities. This position plays a key role in ensuring accurate financial processing, compliance with reporting deadlines, and smooth day-to-day office operations. This role supports a range of accounting and office functions across multiple entities — ideal for someone who enjoys variety, accuracy, and taking ownership of their work.Key ResponsibilitiesAccounting & FinanceProcess weekly Payments accurately and timely and maintain supporting documentation.Prepare VIES and Intrastat reports by the 23rd of each month.Provide support on weekly payroll, including PAYE/PRSI and CSO reporting.Manage VAT returns via SAGE and ROS.Conduct Sage bank reconciliations for EUR accounts.Complete monthly debtor statements and aged debtor reports; issue customer statements and follow up on overdue accounts.Ensure vehicle tax is up to date for all trucks and company vehicles.Manage Sea Fisheries Protection Authority reporting.Process confirmation invoices, prepare remittances and ensure payments are completed timely.Administration & General Office DutiesMonitor and manage admin, saving or printing relevant emails, statements, and responding to queries as needed.Manage general correspondence, bookings, document filing, and record maintenance.Support reception and phone duties.Provide administrative support for management, including correspondence and scheduling.Skills & QualificationsMinimum 2 years' experience in an accounting or administrative support role.Strong working knowledge of Intact and Sage or equivalent accounting systems.Familiarity with ROS, regulatory reporting systems, and general financial compliance requirements.Excellent Excel and Microsoft Office skills.Strong organizational and multitasking ability.High attention to detail and numerical accuracy.Effective communication skills and ability to liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal teams.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.Working Hours:Part-Time. 3 days/week. (Mondays and Fridays are required working days due to payment runs.
