Arcadis DPS Engineering are a seeking a Process Engineer (Pressure Relief) for a Pharmaceutical assignment located in Kinsale.
This is initially a 12-month contract with high potential of extension.
Responsibilities Work closely with the site pressure relief owner to deliver the emergency pressure relief remediation program.
Act as the user representative for the PRD (Pressure Relief Device) remediation project, coordinating the onsite team and building engineering functions.
Administer the site-based PRD team, including onboarding new members and managing training assignments.
Approve externally generated PRD contingencies and calculations at the site level.
Coordinate with building engineering functions to deliver and track completion of remedial tasks.
Support new capital projects by coordinating PRD project delivery tasks, including training project engineers and managing PRD contingencies and calculations through the design process.
Liaise with area/rig/project engineers to deliver a comprehensive PRD program for the Kinsale site.
Participate in all phases of capital project delivery, from conceptual design through to facility startup, and provide surge support to the broader engineering team as needed.
Requirements Bachelors degree (or higher) in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 3 years experience in pressure relief systems and/or capital project delivery, including conceptual and equipment/process design.
Proven experience in process safety and quality compliance within API manufacturing and project environments.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, with strong communication and coordination skills.
Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to manage deadlines, work under pressure, and make effective decisions in a timely manner.
