OverviewLearning Consultant - Workday Success Plans at Workday. The team focuses on delivering programs to help customers drive business value from their Workday applications during post Go-Live journeys.About The TeamThe Workday Success Plans Team delivers a variety of services to our customers ranging from feature demonstrations to full feature deployments, helping customers adopt Workday capabilities and realize value from their investment.About The RoleWould you enjoy learning new things in a fast paced environment? The Workday Success Plans team works directly with customers through targeted micro-consulting engagements to help solve their business needs using the Workday application. You will act as a trusted Workday advisor, assisting customers with how-to questions, troubleshooting configuration, guiding through setup, and providing feature demonstrations. As a Workday expert, you will share knowledge, identify key considerations, and highlight standard methodologies to help customers achieve their goals.Our team has a broad and deep understanding of Workday and enjoys helping customers learn about new features and maximize their Workday investment. If you are passionate about the value technology can bring to an organization, enjoy learning, and want to work with some of the world’s leading companies, bring your energy and teamwork to the Workday Success Plans team.Primary responsibilities of this role include delivering services to Workday Success Plans customers.ResponsibilitiesConducting research to understand customer questions and related Workday concepts.Delivering small scope consulting in response to customer requests; providing configuration guidance, demonstrations, considerations, tips & tricks.Troubleshooting product configuration to meet customer business requirements.Clearly and effectively communicating responses and value to customers.Creating and delivering customer presentations on how to use Workday features to achieve business goals (Accelerator Webinars).Providing one-on-one consulting guidance to accelerate feature adoption (Feature Accelerator).Reviewing customer tenants to identify adoption opportunities (Feature Adoption Tenant Reviews).Completing and maintaining product expertise and Workday Certification(s) along with familiarity with Workday roadmap.Keeping up to date with industry practices and engaging with customers on those topics.Helping drive the creation of new programs to drive customer feature adoption.Other Advisory ServicesIn addition to delivering Workday Success Plans services, the team delivers other advisory services, such as:Office Hours to conduct appointment-based consulting engagements providing guidance and product expertise to customers.Configuration and business requirements reviews with detailed deliverables highlighting opportunities for optimization.One-on-one customer configuration designs.Deployments including full deployment of Workday features.Ability to travel up to 20%.About YouBasic Qualifications3+ years of IT implementation experience3+ years of experience with Learning systems, including but not limited to PeopleSoft, SAP, Oracle, and/or JD Edwards2+ years of software consulting experienceAdditional QualificationsWorkday Certification, or ability to certify in, at least one of the following: Learning, Recruiting, and TalentAbility to gain a thorough understanding of Workday concepts as new features are releasedAbility to distill complex concepts into understandable presentations for customersAbility to multitask and work on multiple engagements and deliverables simultaneouslyStrong critical thinking skills to understand complex technical process issues and facilitate decision makingExcellent verbal and written communication skillsBachelor’s degree or relevant work experience required; advanced degree preferredAdditional languages: French, German, Italian or SpanishFlexible WorkOur approach to flexible work combines in-person time and remote work. We require spending at least 50% of time each quarter in the office or in the field with customers, depending on role. This enables a flexible schedule while ensuring opportunities for collaboration.
