What you will do
* As a PEC Specialist (Product Environmental Compliance), you will provide subject matter expertise and technical leadership for the Instruments division.
* You will accurately interpret, advocating for, and apply various PEC requirements across Instruments' broad product portfolio.
* You will support the new product development (NPD) portfolio by planning for all applicable regulations and ensure products achieve environmental compliance at launch.
* You will partner with Product Engineering to maintain environmental compliance for existing products as well as identify needed engineering changes for new and ever-changing regulations.
* You will be an integral team member in the PEC Project Management Office (PMO) to analyze new and changing global regulations and act as technical lead to address gaps in Quality System processes.
* You will leverage your expertise to identify design requirements for various target markets to match the scope of the project.
* You will be the "go-to" resource for our internal customers seeking guidance and information for specific PEC requirements as well as review and approve environmental compliance documentation.
* You will also support the PEC divisional process owner (DPO) with quality management system continuous process improvements and PEC-related training and job aid development.
* You will participate in opportunities to support divisional and corporate PEC projects and initiatives, which may include integration of new businesses and products.
What you need
* BA or BS in Science, Legal, Regulatory, Engineering, or equivalent
* Prefer degree or certificate program specialized in environmental compliance and regulation
* Minimum of 6 years of work experience required, 2 years experience with environmental compliance focus is preferred
* Thorough knowledge and understanding of US and International environmental regulations
* Expert working knowledge of environmental regulatory requirements, standards, and regulations
