Company Information and Introduction:Production OperativeReporting to: Operations ManagerLocation: 510, Mitchelstown Road, Northwest Business Park, Ballycoolin, Dublin 15, D15PY8HVision: Delivering the best coffee experience on this planet.Scope: Working with the Production Team as a general operative and filling the capacity gaps to deliver the daily operation. Roles and responsibilities highlighted below.Working Hours: 37.5 hours weeklyWorking Days: Monday to Friday - Between the hours 07:00-16:00 - Except Bank HolidaysKey Responsibilities and Duties: Packaging:Packing daily all product that is roasted whilst adhering to all agreed parameters.Set up and maintenance of all packaging equipment in line with agreed process.Labelling details to be in line with company standards.Weights and measures to be checked with high attention to detail .Finished stock / pallets to be moved into warehouse in adherence to pre-agreed procedure on tracking.Maintenance & Cleaning:Developing a thorough understanding of the roasting equipment to properly maintain the equipment.Performing daily and weekly maintenance and cleaning roasting equipment.Assuring that proper preventative maintenance is performed.Maintaining a safe and clean working environment.Assisting the production team and performing other duties as assigned as time allows.Inventory:Organising coffee by origins and types.Creating and recording data for each roast for inventory tracking purposes.Taking and recording month end physical inventories.Receiving green coffee shipments and organising and maintaining cleanliness in the storage area.Key Skills and Competencies:Functional CompetenciesPrior knowledge and a proven record of working in a Production unit.Methodical approach to work with the ability to work in a quick and efficient manner.Prior knowledge of SAP is advantageous.Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.Good literacy and numeracy skills.Knowledge of SAP and MS Office Suites, such as Excel and Word are beneficial.
