The Role
As Tax Director, you will play a central role in managing and developing client relationships while delivering strategic tax services. You will be exposed to a broad portfolio of indigenous and internationally owned businesses across multiple sectors including technology, R&D, manufacturing, distribution, and retail. This position combines advisory and compliance services, offering the right candidate a dynamic and rewarding leadership role.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage a portfolio of clients, overseeing service delivery and developing strong relationships.
2. Ensure all compliance and filing deadlines are met across all tax heads.
3. Work closely with Partners to advise on tax structures, M&A, and succession planning.
4. Contribute to the firm's integrated client service team on wide-ranging advisory projects.
5. Meet team and personal targets across billing, net fee income, and cash collection.
6. Support business development and marketing initiatives at team and firm level.
Ideal Candidate
7. CTA-qualified and a qualified accountant, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in practice.
8. Strong technical expertise in Irish Tax legislation, case law, and guidance.
9. Demonstrated ability to manage client projects from planning to execution.
10. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
11. Strong planning, organisation, and time management skills.
12. Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
