Process Design Engineer
This is a challenging role for a process design engineer, responsible for employing engineering design principles and chemical engineering methodologies to determine optimum process solutions.
You will be part of a dynamic team working on designing water and wastewater treatment processes. Key responsibilities include:
* Employing Engineering Design principles and Chemical Engineering Design methodologies to determine optimum process design solutions
* Developing designs, both conceptual, preliminary and completed plans, of water facilities and structures, wastewater facilities, and preparing reports and detailed calculations
* Carrying out research to support design decisions, familiarising yourself with and employing Uisce ireann and all other relevant standards related to design of works' elements, carrying out hydraulic calculations and developing hydraulic profiles of water and wastewater treatment plants
* Developing and reviewing Process Flow Diagrams, P&ID and Mass Balance, participating in HAZOP and ALM studies, developing Hazardous Area Classifications and Zoning Diagrams
* Presenting project details and technical information to colleagues and clients, liaising with clients, contractors, government agencies, local authorities and suppliers
