Essential Duties & Core Responsibilities
Supply Chain Strategy and Planning
Craft a comprehensive supply chain strategy aligned with our client’s growth plans.
Analyse market trends and customer demand to drive strategic decisions.
Collaborate with senior management to align strategies with long-term goals.
Supplier Relationship Management
Streamline vendor numbers while nurturing relationships with key suppliers.
Negotiate supplier contracts for competitive pricing and quality adherence.
Evaluate new suppliers to ensure alignment with sustainability goals.
Procurement and Inventory Management
Oversee purchasing and inventory transactions, ensuring compliance.
Optimise procurement strategies for raw materials and components.
Forecast material requirements to maintain adequate supply levels.
Supply Chain Risk Management
Identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks.
Develop contingency plans for business continuity.
Execute root cause analysis to address disruptions efficiently.
Supply Chain Performance and Analytics
Maintain focus on key performance indicators (KPIs) and communicate results.
Analyse data to identify improvement areas and cost reduction opportunities.
Sustainability and Environmental Impact
Integrate sustainability principles into procurement practices.
Collaborate with suppliers to reduce packaging waste and optimise transportation.
