Main purpose of the role:
Support the management team in all aspects of the store's operation while gaining detailed experience in various departments throughout the store.
The ideal candidate will have/be:
1 year of experience in the retail industry is desirable
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
Experience balancing cash/tills is desirable
Experience with fresh food
Highly driven with a strong work ethic
Commercial awareness and brand consciousness
Passion for grocery retail
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced working environment
Main Duties:

Set, monitor, and achieve sales targets with the team on gross profit margin, net margin, waste, and other KPIs as agreed with the Store Manager
Participate in all training, development initiatives, and performance assessments
Maintain the store's presentation to the highest standard, following store planograms and guidelines
Implement planograms accurately and ensure the correct product range is in place
Gain competence in all supply procedures, including ordering, delivery, stock rotation, and control procedures
Manage assigned departments effectively
Engage with new initiatives and adopt new ways of working
