We are looking to hire an experienced Digital Marketing Executive to join our fast-paced team. This position will suit a creative, experienced person, who enjoys working on marketing activities in a busy office environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the website and social media accounts. In addition to creating a range of digital assets and content promoting engagement and brand awareness.
The Digital Marketing Executive will work closely with the Marketing Manager, to develop and publish optimised content across all DBS channels for lead generation and conversion. This role involves working across web, social, email, Search [Paid and Organic], and events, and the Digital Marketing Executive will have responsibility for all on-page copy, photographic, and graphic content for This individual will be self-motivated with experience and skills in social media creative and delivery, web content management, social and web, graphic design management, reporting and analytics, writing and editing for email, event management and site management. The individual will carry strong technical skills and be willing to work with a creative and proactive attitude while carrying out their work with a thorough and planned approach.
Responsibilities
Social Media
* Produce and publish new content, that is refreshing and customer-focused.
* Monitor social media mentions on a daily basis, dealing with and reporting back as appropriate.
* Supervise all aspects of social media interaction between customers and DBS, and ensure a positive customer service experience.
* Manage social media calendar and posting schedules.
* Measure social media engagement levels across the channels.
* Facilitate scaling brand awareness through various social media channels.
* Work with DBS brand to create and implement social media strategies.
* Ensure brand consistency in copy through tone, voice and terminology.
* Create actionable plans to both grow and maintain followers through popular social media platforms including Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok and LinkedIn.
* Track and monitor key social media performance metrics. Circulate performance reports to key stakeholders.
Web Content and Analytics
* Day-to-day CMS management and implementation of content and news updates.
* Work closely with the business to establish and fulfil content requirements.
* Ensure all content produced meets the SEO best practices.
* Produce and reports for business stakeholders.
* Monitor all online channels to assess the contribution of these areas to the website.
* Regular web audits and project work on the website.
* Track and monitor key website performance metrics. Circulate performance report to key stakeholders.
Email Marketing
* Creation of email schedules and templates in line with brand guidelines.
* Data management and segmentation.
* Track and monitor key email performance metrics. Circulate performance report to key stakeholders.
* Awareness, understanding and implementation of the latest email marketing best practices.
SEO and PPC
* Work with agency on SEO and PPC campaigns. Deliver research, analytics and insights. Implement agency recommendations as required.
* Request content from the business which is known to be searched for and required by new, existing and potential target market.
Event Management
* Internal and external event management, including pre and post-event activities and content development.
* Drive traffic to the event, using the above-mentioned channels.
* Coordinate staff support at events.
* Post-event reporting and analysis.
Miscellaneous
* Advise on the correct implementation of DBS brand guidelines. Act as brand guardian.
* Develop content for brochures, flyers and event materials in conjunction with agency partners.
* Writing and proofreading marketing collateral.
* Awareness and a good understanding of media to ensure creative is applicable across the marketing mix, digital and offline.
* Coordinate the collection of student testimonials for a range of purposes.
* Other tasks as required to meet the demands of the business in accordance with company objectives.
* Management of marketing collateral and promotional inventory.
* Provide marketing support to the Admissions team across all recruitment areas and work constructively with colleagues in a creative, collaborative, cross-departmental/cross-project environment.
Skills / Attributes Required
* At least 3 years experience in a digital marketing role or an agency or similar.
* Agency experience beneficial.
* An organised individual with the ability to manage a diverse workload.
* Third level qualification in marketing, social media, digital media, or a related field.
* A social networker Social media management experience Proficient using multi-social posting programs such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social etc. Experience using Meta and LinkedIn advertising a bonus.
* Impeccable written and verbal communication skills. Good copywriter with proven experience of implementing grammatically correct copy.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Specific technical skills include:
* Experience using Sitefinity an advantage or other CMS systems.
* Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
* Experience with Google Analytics.
* Experience with Salesforce and Pardot.
* Experience with Survey Monkey.
* Use of modern email marketing systems.
* Experience using databases for advanced segmentation.
* Strong analytical skills.
* Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office and Adobe Suites.
* General knowledge of Search Engine Optimization software, e.g. SemRush.
* In-depth experience of digital content- design, production and publishing for a wide range of audiences. Familiar with digital marketing mediums and able to bring innovative solutions to business issues and problems.
* Passionate about the customer and all elements of the customer experience.
* Comfortable working in a fast-moving, deadline-focused environment.
* Delivery-focused individual that works with a pro-active, "can-do" attitude. Team player that wants to work in a busy environment. Work closely with colleagues across the organisation and collaborate with stakeholders as well as external agencies.
* Relevant experience determining a target audience and how to cater unique marketing campaigns to capture their attention.
* Strong understanding of marketing strategy and how to effortlessly utilise these concepts throughout various forms of outreach.
* Artistic and enjoy idea generation
* Knowledge of Third Level Education sector is preferred but not essential.
