Business Analyst Opportunity in Blood Sciences
The Bon Secours Health System is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join their team. This exciting opportunity will see the successful candidate work as a core team member within the Clinical working group, focusing on the implementation and ongoing development of an electronic medical record.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work with assigned user areas to optimize system performance and support project-related work for all Laboratories in BSHS.
* Attend vendor education sessions and provide forward-thinking solutions to add value to the project.
* Play a key role in implementing and developing electronic medical records.
* Collaborate with members of the Stream Leadership Team and ready Consultants for specific modules/applications.
* Gather requirements, develop dictionary standards, and create site-specific and corporate content.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Qualifications:
* Bachelor in Science (Applied Science) or equivalent qualification.
* Honours degree in Biomedical Science from the University of Dublin or Technological University Dublin.
* Membership of the Academy of Medical Laboratory Science or eligibility for membership.
Experience:
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a Medical Laboratory post-qualification as a Medical Scientist.
* Working knowledge of IT Systems in a Laboratory environment.
* Business Analyst experience.
* Experience of supporting IT Systems.
Skills:
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Able to work independently and as part of a team.
