As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a Quantity Surveyor and Senior Quantity Surveyor with experience in general construction projects, ideally with exposure to public sector frameworks and decarbonisation upgrades.
These include deep retrofit programmes, energy efficiency upgrades, and building fabric improvements across schools, hospitals, and public buildings.W are looking for a commercially sharp, detail-oriented QS to ensure financial control, value for money, and best practice in cost management from tender to close-out.Role PurposeThe QS will manage the commercial function across a range of retrofit and construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, on budget, and to a high standard, with full compliance with public procurement and construction contract obligations.Key ResponsibilitiesFull commercial management of construction projects under GCCC or equivalent contractsPreparing cost plans, BOQs, and subcontractor procurement packagesManaging project budgets, valuations, interim claims, and final accountsTracking and reporting on cost performance and commercial riskLiaising with design teams, consultants, and public sector stakeholdersOverseeing contract variations, compensation events, and change control processesEnsuring compliance with building regulations, public works contract conditions, and company policyContributing to prequalification and tender documentation for new public projectsSupporting sustainability and energy efficiency cost tracking under SEAI and DoES schemesRequirementsDegree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or related disciplineMinimum 4 years' post-grad experience, ideally with experience on GCCC contractsStrong understanding of decarbonisation works (fabric upgrades, insulation, M&E coordination, etc.)Excellent working knowledge of public procurement processesAbility to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and reporting cyclesSkilled in Microsoft Office; experience with Buildsoft or similar QS software desirableStrong interpersonal and negotiation skillsFull clean driving licence and legal right to work in IrelandWhy joining us?
