Office Administrator Role

Southern Scientific Services Ltd is an Irish owned and operated environmental consultancy and testing facility. Our team of highly qualified scientists deliver integrated scientific and environmental services and solutions to society.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Office Administrator to join our team. As an Office Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our office activities and providing exceptional customer service assistance.


Key Responsibilities:

* Sampling Kit Preparation

You will prepare sampling kits and associated labels/paperwork for clients in a timely and efficient manner.

* Data Entry and Filing

You will accurately enter data into our systems and maintain up-to-date filing systems to ensure easy access to information.

* Customer Service Assistance

You will provide exceptional customer service assistance to our clients, responding to queries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.

* Office Coordination

You will coordinate office activities and operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with company policies.

* Stock Management

You will track stocks of office supplies and place orders when necessary to ensure we have the necessary resources to operate effectively.

* Reporting and Presentations

You will submit timely reports and prepare presentations/proposals as assigned by management.

* Colleague Support

You will assist colleagues whenever necessary to ensure the smooth operation of our office.


Requirements:

* Proven Experience

Proven experience as an office administrator or relevant role is essential for this position.

* Communication Skills

Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities are required to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.

* Organisational Skills

Excellent organisational and leadership skills are necessary to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

* Office Management Skills

Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles is required.

* Technical Skills

Excellent knowledge of MS Office and office management software is necessary to perform duties efficiently.
