Known for our technical expertise and consistent reliability, we're now expanding our work force.As part of this growth, we're looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead and coordinate key engineering projects — someone who can take full ownership from concept to completion and ensure every detail is executed to the highest standard.About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Project Manager with strong hands-on understanding of mechanical fabrication, structural steel, and electrical & automation systems. In this role, you will lead multidisciplinary projects from inception through to commissioning, coordinating design, fabrication, installation, and client engagement. You will ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, to budget, and to the highest quality and regulatory standards.What You'll Do:Taking the lead on engineering and fabrication projects, managing scope, schedules, budgets, and resources.Acting as the main point of contact for clients — building relationships, managing expectations, and ensuring satisfaction.Coordinating with internal departments (production, design, logistics) to align project goals.Managing project documentation, planning workflows, and maintaining accurate reports.Identifying potential risks or delays early and putting practical solutions in place.Ensuring all works meet the highest safety and quality standards.Supporting continuous improvement by sharing feedback and looking for smarter ways of working.What We're Looking ForEssential:Degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or other related engineering field.5+ years' experience managing projects, ideally in a fabrication, engineering, or industrial setting.Proven track record managing end-to-end projects (design through to commissioning).Solid technical understanding of structural steel design, fabrication tolerances, welding practices, and fabrication workflows.Experience with control systems, automation, instrumentation, robotics, PLC/SCADA, or systems integration.Commercial acumen, cost control, and risk management capability.Familiarity with standards relevant to hygienic/cleanroom/GMP environments (especially in food, beverage, pharma and medical devices)Strong leadership, communication and people skills – you'll be working closely with clients and teams.Willingness to travel to client sites and work across workshop and field environmentsFull clean driving licenceWhat You'll GetThe chance to lead challenging, high-impact projects in a growing company.Autonomy in your role, with the support of a close-knit and experienced team.Exposure to cutting-edge automation, robotics and cleanroom/hygienic projects.A collaborative working environment where your ideas are valued.Real opportunities for career progression, professional development and training.Competitive salary commensurate with experience.On-site parking and practical workplace benefits.The DetailsType: Full-time, permanentSchedule: Monday to FridayLocation: On-site, based in Kilkenny with travel to client sites requiredInterested?If you're a driven and experienced Project Manager looking to join a company that values quality and teamwork, we'd love to hear from you.
