Project Controls Manager
We are seeking an experienced Project Controls Manager to drive project success through the stages of Basis of Design, Detailed Design, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, and Hand-over/Completion. The ideal candidate will have a track record of managing large-scale projects (€100m+) in the pharmaceutical industry.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage stakeholder expectations and difficult conversations with the team and client
* Foresee potential challenges and address them before issues arise
* Contribute to solutions and unblock routine obstacles on fast-track projects
Project Controls Function
* Drive PM Fee Management, Project Capital Cost Management, Project Schedule Management, Project Accountancy Management, and Project Risk Management
* Oversee the on-site Planning Team and track data for budgets, contracts, change orders, trends, and actual costs
* Lead a team to establish a unified and high standard of data outputs
Reporting and Communication
* Ensure regular and timely reporting of project progress and advise on conditions affecting timelines or costs
* Promote open communication and collaboration between all parties to ensure minimal disruptions and delays
Change Management
* Apply management of change efficiently, capturing changes with schedule and cost impact on work-scope
* Plan and manage discipline aspects of the change control process
Qualifications
* At least 20 years' experience in Project Controls roles, ideally in a pharma environment
* Demonstrated understanding and experience of cost control and management, performance measurement, and project scheduling
* Ability to interpret construction contractual documents and contract modifications
