We are presently recruiting for a Grade III Clerical officer for our clients Killarney, County Kerry Office. Working in a busy office, you will be interacting with service users and ensuring that services records are fully up to date. As a Clerical officer, you will perform data entry, assist in all aspects of payroll for staff and play a vital role in ensuring services run efficiently. This is an initial three-month contract with option for renewal.
Responsibilities:
* Provide office support, answer queries and provide a reception / telephone service.
* Manage data – including maintaining, correcting, collating, interrogating, validating and processing data.
* Maintain accurate up to date records filing systems and records (computerised / paper copy).
* Assist in and / or prepare reports as necessary.
* Provide required information and support to Service Managers and teams, team members, clients, patients, members of the public etc.
* Action all communications in a timely manner.
* Undertake any other administrative support and assignments as directed.
* Represent the Service in a positive manner.
* Ensure that service users are treated with dignity and respect.
* Identify potential problems / inconsistencies in a timely manner and consult with Line Manager as appropriate.
Skills and experience:
* Have a minimum of two years’ experience in Administration
* Hold a minimum of leaving certificate or similar
* Have a working knowledge of the Health Information and Quality Authority (HIQA) Standards.
