Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Store Manager to join our team. As a key member of our retail operations, you will be responsible for the overall performance and success of our stores. You will lead by example, driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and ensuring exceptional employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead day-to-day store operations, including sales, staff management, customer service, security, health & safety, stock management, and resource allocation
* Meet or exceed store targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive business results
* Develop and implement strategies to improve sales performance, customer experience, and employee engagement
* Mentor, coach, and develop staff to achieve their full potential and support company goals
* Manage cash handling, wage costs, budgets, and administrative tasks as required
* Create visually appealing store displays to engage customers and promote products
* Ensure all in-store services are suitably staffed and promoted
* Monitor store security and take necessary actions to prevent losses and protect assets
* Implement and maintain high standards of health & safety practices within the store
* Analyze customer requirements and develop new business opportunities
* Implement successful projects that align with company objectives
* Main call-out person in case of alarm activation
* Provide cover for other stores as needed
Requirements:
* Minimum 2-3 years of retail management experience
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
* Passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences
* Strong product knowledge and visual merchandising skills
* Proficient in IT systems, including Excel, email, and SAP
* Bachelor's degree in Business or Retail Management (or equivalent)
