We are now seeking a dynamic and experienced HR & Governance Specialist to join our team.Purpose of the RoleThe HR and Governance Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that the organisation maintains the highest standards of compliance, governance, and workforce management in line with employment law, safeguarding, and healthcare sector regulations. This role will oversee and implement HR processes, incident and safeguarding management, policy development, and the maintenance of accurate and up to date staff records.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide day to day HR support and advice to staff and managers on policies, procedures, and legislative compliance.Lead the implementation of employee disciplinary and grievance procedures in line with employment law and Workplace Relations Commission (WRC) guidelines.Maintain and update all staff files to ensure compliance with legal and sector requirements (e.g., right to work checks, training certificates, references).Oversee the onboarding and offboarding process for all staff, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards.Maintain an up to date policy register and ensure timely reviews and staff communication of policy changes.Lead on the reporting, investigation, and resolution of safeguarding concerns, complaints and incidents in line with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.Maintain detailed and confidential safeguarding and incident records.Support managers in handling grievances, disciplinary matters, and performance management in accordance with employment law and company policy.Promote a positive workplace culture that aligns with organisational values and promotes accountability, respect, and care.Essential:Bachelors Degree (3years) in HR Management or related discipline and CIPD qualification (or working towards)Min 2 years HR experience in healthcareStrong communication and problem-solving skills.Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: €40,000.00-€55,000.00 per yearBenefits:Work from homeWork Location: Hybrid remote in Carlow, CO.
