The position will involve delivery of the role of part time Business Administrator within Cavan County Enterprise Fund (CCEF) and its wholly owned subsidiary, Cavan Innovation and Technology Centre (CITC).The appointee will play a key role in supporting the day to day administration of both companies.CCEF owns and manages a number of enterprise centres throughout the county, as well as providing loan finance, on a selective basis, to small businesses. CITC is a high-quality education and training facility, which also provides accommodation for a range of state organisations.Work DaysNormally Monday to Wednesday, but this may change subject to agreement.Hours of workThe typical hours of work will be 9am to 5pm. However, flexibility may be required to cater for business needs and those of our clients.Essential SkillsGiven the diverse nature of the work, the role will require a range of skillsets, including :-Proven organisational, interpersonal and communication (oral and written) skills;Excellent literacy, numeracy, and IT skills (Microsoft Office);Customer relationship and office administration experience;Expertise and experience in marketing;Knowledge of WordPress and experience in website maintenance, digital marketing, including social media and web-based advertising.The ideal candidate will be a self-starter; have a positive attitude to work; be enthusiastic to learn new skills and practices; and have a strong commitment to achieving best outputs and outcomes.
