Maintenance Team Lead Position
Job Description:
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Maintenance Team Leader to join our team in County Cork.
Main Responsibilities:
* The ideal candidate will act as IWS (Integrated Work Systems) Maintenance lead, coaching teams and facilitating process improvements to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
* In the absence of the Maintenance Manager, this role requires taking on full maintenance manager responsibilities and ensuring the continuity of maintenance operations.
* The successful candidate will manage and direct the day-to-day operations of the Maintenance team with the Maintenance Manager, including determining needed repairs and improvements, establishing project priorities and assigning work tasks, scheduling work to meet production needs with minimal disruption.
* They will oversee the execution of all maintenance tasks with the Maintenance Manager, both planned and reactive.
* Frequent attendance at regular team meetings is required to align with operational and company objectives.
Requirements:
* A relevant City & Guilds qualification, preferably in electrical trade.
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Proven experience in a leadership position of a maintenance or engineering team.
* Excellent people management and coaching skills.
* Ability to manage a team and prioritize maintenance schedules effectively.
* A comprehensive technical background and competence.
