Position Overview CRH is looking for a Financial Systems Assistant Manager st to join our Global Finance Function.
The role can be based in Dublin, Atlanta or Amsterdam and will report to the Financial Systems Senior Manager.
CRH is on a programme to move to a cloud based EPM solution and this role is an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of a cutting edge EPM technology implementation.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities: Support end-users in systems issue resolution during internal and external reporting cycles through bridging the gap between accounting and system functionality Develop robust system solutions for current reporting requirements by leveraging a blend of accounting expertise and financial systems acumen across multiple Oracle-based applications Act as main contact with internal and external financial stakeholders and the financial systems team to identify future reporting requirements and translate into system solutions Apply knowledge and understanding of financial and accounting principles to our systems and business processes, and share fundamentals with systems-focused teammates to ensure best-in-class solutions Lead in ad-hoc project working groups to advise and facilitate the delivery of existing data pulls and transformational system changes Support and mentor teammates reporting to you as they professionally develop in their roles, ensuring that they meet their potential and avail of opportunities to grow in their career Education and Experience: Educated to degree level ideally with relevant postgraduate or technical qualifications or equivalent in business, finance, engineering, or information technology Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with significant post-qualification experience A solid understanding of accounting practices and principles, especially US GAAP / IFRSAbility to develop strong relationships and to work with teams across different cultures Excellent time management skills in order to meet strict deadlines and manage priorities Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, able to influence at senior levels Experience in a large, complex, multi-site organisation What CRH Offers You A culture that values opportunity for growth, development, and internal promotion Highly competitive salary package Comprehensive secondary benefits Significant contribution to your pension plan Health and wellness programs, including an on-site gym and fitness classes Excellent opportunities to develop and progress with a global organization Connect your future to CRHWe are curious to learn more about you.
