Regulatory Reporting Data Operations Vice President
.
You will be responsible for leading a team in Dublin that produces and manages data used for regulatory reporting. You will be responsible for
driving high-quality regulatory reporting data, strengthening controls, and supporting the transformation towards a data-centric regulatory reporting environment. You will manage a small team and work closely with Finance, Risk, Data Management, Change, and IT stakeholders in a highly regulated and fast-evolving environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the Regulatory Reporting Data Production team in Dublin (including AVP and Associate roles)
* Drive a single source of truth data strategy aligned with ECB initiatives such as iREF and BIRD
* Coordinate and support preparation of regulatory reporting data for COREP, FINREP, Pillar 3 and other key regulatory returns
* Design, execute, and evidence key controls, including: Accounting reconciliations, Period-over-period analysis, Data consistency and analytical reviews
* Review data quality issues, oversee data corrections, and support remediation activities
* Support the review of regulatory reporting and disclosure templates, including ad-hoc regulatory and management requests
* Prepare and present assurance packs and management review materials
* Identify process weaknesses and drive continuous improvement, leveraging automation, data analytics, and visualisation tools
Key Requirements:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree; professional accounting qualifications are a plus
* Strong experience in regulatory reporting, financial reporting, product control, or data operations within a financial institution or consultancy
* Proven ability to lead and develop a small team
* Strong understanding of regulatory reporting controls, data quality, and governance
* Advanced data and analytics skills, including: Excel (expert level), SQL for data extraction and transformation, Power BI or similar visualisation tools
* Ability to understand complex regulatory concepts and explain them clearly to senior stakeholders
* Hands-on, proactive mindset with the ability to work independently
