Role Overview
Following significant company growth and expansion of our service portfolio, we are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee the operational delivery of our security services across multiple sites both North and South of the border.
This newly created position reflects our continued success and increasing client base. The successful candidate will ensure that all contracts are delivered to the highest standard, client expectations are exceeded, and compliance with industry and statutory requirements is maintained.
This is a leadership role, responsible for managing staff performance, ensuring operational excellence, and driving continuous improvement across our expanding service lines. This is an excellent opportunity to join our organisation at an exciting time of growth and development.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the day-to-day operations of security contracts across Ireland, both North and South.
* Act as the main point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
* Lead and manage site supervisors, team leaders, and frontline security staff to ensure effective service delivery.
* Conduct regular site visits, audits, and inspections to monitor performance, standards, and compliance.
* Manage rostering, scheduling, and resource allocation to maximise efficiency and meet client requirements.
* Ensure compliance with all SIA, PSA, TUPE, Health & Safety, and GDPR regulations.
* Handle escalations, incidents, and operational issues, providing timely resolutions.
* Liaise with HR on disciplinary, grievance, and recruitment matters.
* Monitor contract performance against agreed KPIs and prepare monthly management reports.
* Identify opportunities for operational improvements and contract growth.
* Control budgets, overtime, and ensure cost efficiency in line with company policies.
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in a security management or contracts management role.
* Strong knowledge of security operations, staff management, and compliance standards.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to manage multiple sites and a dispersed workforce.
* Full, clean driving licence – flexibility to travel regularly between North and South.
* Experience working with both public sector and private sector contracts.
* Previous involvement in tender mobilisation and client presentations.
* Knowledge of ERP or workforce management systems (e.g. SmartTask).
