Job Description:
Community Liaison Officer
The Community Liaison Officer shall support the project stakeholder management and communications functions throughout the project lifecycle.
You'll be responsible for:
* Ensuring efficient and coordinated management of project stakeholders (both internal and external).
* Collaborating with the stakeholder lead and manager to support public-facing stakeholder engagement activities.
* Providing updates on community engagement to internal project teams and coordinating with delivery contractors to monitor stakeholder liaison and commitments.
* Identifying, assessing, and communicating risks related to public engagement to the project team.
* Serving as the main contact for community stakeholders at specific locations, providing briefings, promoting the project, and resolving issues.
* Organizing and attending meetings and forums as outlined in the engagement strategy.
Requirements:
* 5+ years of experience in stakeholder and communications management, with a proven track record in high-value rail projects or similar complex projects.
* Experience in driving best practices in technical activities, processes, policies, and standards.
* Understanding of design and delivery requirements of complex projects in the architectural, engineering, or construction sectors.
* Experience engaging with stakeholders at all levels, influencing process improvements, and supporting project delivery and reporting.
* Knowledge of quality management and process improvement practices, preferably within construction.
You'll also have:
* The ability to manage technical outputs to enhance efficiency.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* The ability to govern and drive outcomes for high-quality service.
* A BA/BSc in public relations, business, or a related field.
