Position Title: Accounts Assistant

We are currently recruiting an Accounts Assistant to join our Accounts department. This entry level role will assist in ensuring the timely and accurate processing of financial transactions.
Key Areas of Responsibility
* Updating client and matter records in the practice management system
* Adjusting and writing off time entries
* Posting of bills
* Posting of search and courier fees to the practice management system
* Posting of disbursement accounts
* Filing of all Accounts documents e.g. bank statements, cheques etc.
* Opening and distributing post received by the Accounts department
* Cover for other Accounts staff during holiday periods etc.
* Such other duties as may reasonably be required from time to time
Key Requirements:
* Ideally have experience in an accounts function in a professional services environment
* Be able to work effectively as part of a team
* Ability to work to deadlines
* Experience with Excel and Outlook
* Excellent attention to detail
* Strong numerical skills
