About the role: Our stores are the heart of our business and the primary touchpoints with our evolving consumer base. To set the tone for our brands, the Assistant Store Manager leads by example, embraces an entrepreneurial spirit and inspires the team through passion and belief in the brand.


Responsibilities Include

* Leading the store teams to generate sales, profit, minimize losses, and provide an outstanding customer experience while maintaining visual standards.
* Identifying opportunities to grow the business and improve performance in collaboration with others.
* Maintaining corporate visual merchandising directives for the sales floor and back room.
* Co‑ordinating with the visual merchandising team to ensure clear communication and understanding.
* Partnering with the store management team to build on business opportunities and achieve company objectives.
* Focusing staff on building quality relationships with internal and external customers and encouraging accountability in creating repeat customer base.
* Conducting daily/weekly store walkthroughs to evaluate product performance, pricing, staff service levels and inventory.
* Communicating to the Store Manager what drives sales, discussing priorities and developing strategies to maximize business; ensuring weekly visual presentation action plans.
* Analyzing store level reports and creating action plans to improve results.
* Assisting with manpower planning, recruitment, interviewing and hiring processes, recruiting personnel with diverse perspectives.
* Working with the Store Manager to build bench strength for key positions, including potential successors.
* Participating in weekly management meetings and staff meetings.
* Clearly communicating store and individual sales goals and performance expectations; reviewing sales results and providing guidance to improve performance.
* Delivering a great customer journey and achieving exemplary mystery shop results.
