Sustainability & Climate Analyst | Leading PLC | North Dublin
The client –
Our client, a leading PLC based in North Dublin operating in the aviation sector. A new role as been created for a Sustainability and Climate Analyst.
The role –
The successful candidate will play a key role within the Sustainability Team, to help deliver the company’s vision in relation to its sustainability ambitions and reporting compliance. The role will provide insights and analysis on a range of issues including carbon emissions, fuel efficiency, operational processes, inflight, ground and product related sustainability initiatives that will inform and shape the sustainability strategy, track performance and ensure compliance with environmental reporting obligations.
Responsibilities will include –
1. Monitors and reports performance against company key performance indicators in the areas of climate, noise, waste, energy and water and other sustainability metrics as needed
2. Modelling and forecasting current and future Greenhouse Gas emissions performance, mitigation options and carbon pricing scenarios
3. Coordinating data and information in order to comply with environmental legislation at corporate level, including the Emissions Trading Schemes and CORSIA
4. Engaging with external auditors and consultants where necessary as part of compliance obligations
5. Ensure compliance with all mandatory reporting requirements, including contribution to annual Group Sustainability Disclosure Reporting

About you –
9. You will be a Qualified Accountant or have a circa 3 – 5 years working in a finance related role
10. Proven ability to analyse statistical data with confidence, including database management skills – Excel based
11. Strong communication skills
12. Fluent English
