About the Role Our LPG division is now seeking a new Stock and Asset manager to oversee our stock and assets in various locations throughout the island of Ireland implementing and owning a clear policy to ensure stock levels and assets are effectively managed. Key Responsibilities: Implement new company policy on stock and asset management Implement and manage a new software programme to house same Actively manage stocks in third party locations (physical assets & product) Reporting on external stocks and reconciliation of same Report on company assets monthly Manage all movements of assets & stocks to and from company owned sites Visit third party locations to carry out stock takes periodically Field based role with a minimum of one to two days in the head office Owner of the process, policy, and day to day management of same Liaise with company partners to ensure company policy is being adhered to Liaise with the finance department to escalate issues with stock differences Take further steps in the event of variances Report on regularly KPI's and metrics to senior management Candidate Profile: The idea candidate will have a minimum 3 years experience relevant to the role and will hold a formal qualification in finance, supply chain management, engineering or related discipline. This person will need to be an independent worker who is self-motivated and flexible in their nature. Essential skills required to succeed in this role include communication, analytical, team work, good initiative and strong IT skills, ideally with experience in Codas or a similar stock management software.
