Job Title: Banking Solicitor
We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious solicitor to join our team as a banking solicitor. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your expertise in a dynamic and challenging environment, working alongside experienced professionals.
About the Role:
The role will involve advising on a diverse range of banking and finance matters, including secured and unsecured lending, debt restructurings, and regulatory compliance. You will work closely with senior solicitors and partners to coordinate and manage transactions, and provide clear, practical, and strategic legal advice to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Secured and Unsecured Lending: Assisting with and advising on a wide range of lending transactions, including drafting and negotiating facility agreements, security documents, and intercreditor arrangements for both secured and unsecured financings.
* Debt Restructurings and Workouts: Providing support on debt restructuring, refinancing, and workout scenarios, including advising on distressed debt and enforcement options.
* Regulatory Compliance: Conducting legal research and analysis on financial services regulatory matters impacting banking transactions, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
* Loan Sales and Acquisitions: Assisting with large-scale loan portfolio sales and acquisitions, including due diligence, drafting transfer documentation, and advising on associated legal risks.
* General Corporate Lending: Advising on general corporate lending matters, including bilateral and syndicated loan facilities.
* Due Diligence: Conducting thorough legal due diligence in connection with various banking and finance transactions.
Requirements:
* Qualified Solicitor in Ireland.
* Newly Qualified (NQ) up to 3 years' PQE.
* Strong academic background.
* Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
* Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
* A proactive and commercial approach to legal advice.
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
