Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive
Purchasing Administrator
to support the purchasing and project teams with day-to-day procurement and administrative activities.
The role requires strong organisational skills, commercial awareness, and confidence working with systems and data.
Key Responsibilities
Raise and process Purchase Orders (POs) accurately and in a timely manner
Perform data entry and maintain purchasing records within internal systems
Liaise with Project Managers to support procurement requirements
Work closely with logistics team to ensure smooth flow of goods and documentation
Manage general POs and assist with administrative purchasing tasks
Ensure compliance with internal purchasing procedures and controls
Communicate with suppliers regarding orders, pricing, and delivery schedules (as required)
Skills & Experience Required
Minimum 2 years' experience in an administrative role
Economics background (degree or relevant qualification preferred)
Strong commercial awareness and understanding of business operations
Tech-savvy with good IT awareness and confidence in using systems
High attention to detail and accuracy in data handling
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
Previous experience in a purchasing or procurement environment
Exposure to logistics or supply chain processes
ERP experience (Dynamics 365)
