Corporate Knowledge Lawyer
Overview
The Role is an exciting opportunity for a skilled knowledge lawyer to join the Corporate Group, working closely with other knowledge lawyers and reporting directly to the Head of the Knowledge Team. A primary focus will be on corporate law and transactions, with potential involvement in other practice areas as required.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and update template corporate documents and precedents.
- Monitor legal, regulatory, and practice developments relevant to corporate law.
- Deliver updates, briefings, and facilitate training for practitioners and clients on corporate law and related developments.
- Contribute to the management and development of overall knowledge resources.
- Assist practitioners with complex corporate legal and regulatory queries.
- Draft materials for an online legal current awareness service.
- Prepare client briefings and public publications to maintain market profile.
- Lead and contribute to client presentations.
- Work on specific knowledge projects related to legal resources, research, know-how, and education.
Your Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum three years post-qualification experience with a focus on corporate law, preferably within a leading law firm.
- Strong proficiency in drafting legal materials, with a keen technical and academic interest in corporate law.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on developing knowledge services.
- Sound judgment, decision-making abilities, and proven project management skills.
- Excellent organizational, prioritization, and time management skills, with high attention to detail.
- A strong interest in developing, maintaining, and sharing legal knowledge through training.
- A positive, proactive, and team-oriented attitude, with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- A high degree of discretion and the ability to work with confidential information.
Educational Requirements
- An excellent academic background, holding at least a 2.1 honors degree.
- Qualified as a solicitor or barrister in Ireland, Northern Ireland, or England and Wales.
