Due to continued growth, new contracts and an extensive pipeline of work, Irelands largest Civil Contractor have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team working on a large-scale civil infrastructure projects.Is this your next job Read the full description below to find out, and do not hesitate to make an application.The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with NEC contracts and a strong background in civil engineering projects.This role will be based out of their head office in Sallins, Role: Oversee and manage all project costs to ensure that projects are completed within budget.Prepare and evaluate cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities for our projects.Manage NEC contracts, including interpreting contract clauses, managing early warnings, and assessing compensation events.Analyse and assess variations, manage claims in compliance with NEC guidelines, and ensure timely resolution of any contract issues.Conduct cost analysis and risk management for ongoing projects.Oversee procurement processes, negotiate with subcontractors, and manage subcontractor performance.Prepare and present detailed reports on project financial performance.Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.Assist in the preparation of contract documents and manage contract variations.Requirements: Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying.Minimum of 10 years of experience in quantity surveying within the Civil Engineering sector.Strong knowledge of construction contracts, cost control, and procurement processes.Proven experience with NEC contracts is essential.Proficient in the use of COINS, Primavera P6, MS Project software and MS Office suite.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and negotiation abilities.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Salary: €80 K €85 K neg DOE Company Vehicle/Vehicle Allowance Benefits Package 24 days annual leave If you are a Senior Quantity Surveyor considering a career move, please feel to send your CV to or contact Lisa Cullen on for a confidential discussion.
