The Hoxton is gearing up to open its very first hotel in Ireland, bringing a unique hospitality experience to the beautiful capital city of Dublin. This coastal city is steeped in history, with lush green parks and a thriving music scene. Our new hotel will be home to 129 bedrooms of varying sizes, a lobby bar, historic bar, large ground floor restaurant, and lobby restaurant, as well as a nightclub. We're looking for an experienced leader to join our team.
Job Description
* Lead Housekeeping Team: Take the lead in ensuring our guests experience spotless and well-organized rooms that they want to come back to.
* Manage Departmental Costs: Work closely with other teams (front office, maintenance, and F&B) towards the overall goal of creating a memorable experience in a beautiful space.
* Control Housekeeping Stock: Ensure all orders are monitored and managed effectively.
* Achieve High Levels of Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to both external and internal customers, forging long-term relationships with suppliers and contractors.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Previous Housekeeping Experience: At least [X] years of experience in housekeeping, preferably at a similar level.
* Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage others, creating an environment where your team can thrive.
* Attention to Detail: An eagle-eye for detail, able to spot any issues or areas for improvement.
* Operational Knowledge: Familiarity with front desk operating systems such as Micros Fidelio Opera.
