Overview

We are based in the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) and benefit from a wide range of MDT mental health specialists. Responsibilities
Lead clinical practice as Principal Clinical Psychologist, providing day‑to‑day leadership, support and supervision.
Deliver integrated care within a multi‑disciplinary team to children and young people with long‑term health conditions.
Develop and deliver interventions, including targeted group work, reflective practice groups for specialist nursing teams and other innovative staff support.
Present clinically on Highland Children’s Unit and Neonate Unit in Raigmore Hospital as required.
Collaborate with medical, nursing and allied health professionals; support CPD, staff support and CAMHS website development.
Establish and maintain strong working relationships with MDT colleagues.
Qualifications
Experience as a Clinical Psychologist with a background in paediatric health, CAMHS, or adult clinical health psychology.
Strong leadership, interpersonal and organisational skills.
Enthusiastic, motivated, and able to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Capacity to supervise and support staff.
Experience delivering group work or reflective practice groups is desirable.
