Due to continued growth & expansion in the Clare area, Comfort Homecare is recruiting additional Health Care Assistants to support our Clare team.
Driving Essential
Most competitive rates starting at €15 per hour. Higher rate on Sundays, €10 for half-hour calls plus travel allowance of 41c per km. Additional benefits.
Healthcare Assistant Part-time and Full-time positions available in the Clare area to assist clients in remaining safely and happily in their own homes. This is a great opportunity to work with a company that values its staff highly.
- Fully Funded QQI Level 5 and 6 qualifications

The successful candidate must:
- Hold QQI Level 5 in Care Skills and Care of the Elderly
- Be fully reliable and dependable
- Have a full clean driver's license and own vehicle
- Be flexible and proactive
- Have a caring and kind disposition, providing a person-centred approach to clients
- Possess good communication and practical skills
- Some experience and training are desirable
- Be available for weekend and evening work
Responsibilities of the role:
- Provide high standards of emotional, social, and personal care to clients
- Follow all company policies
- Maintain accurate records
- Engage in ongoing training and upskilling
- Implement individual care plans
- Offer practical and emotional support professionally
Job Type: Part-time / Full-time
Part-time hours: 18-40 hours per week
Schedule:
* Day shift
* Evening shift
* Weekend availability
* Flexible hours
Experience:
* Minimum 1 year as a Healthcare Assistant
Licence/Certification:
* Certificate in Care Skills or Healthcare Support (desirable)
* Full Clean Driver's License required
