Food & Beverage Assistants, Bar Tenders Overview: We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Food & Beverage Assistants and Bartenders to join our team at the Clifden Station House Hotel. With a mixture of breakfast and evening dinner shifts available, this role offers variety and the opportunity to work across both Restaurant & Bar Operations. Responsibilities: Deliver a warm, professional, and friendly service to all guests. Assist in the set-up, service, and breakdown of breakfast, lunch, and dinner shifts. Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently. Serve drinks and cocktails to brand standards (Bartenders). Ensure all areas are kept clean, tidy, and well-presented. Process bills and handle payments correctly. Maintain high standards of hygiene, health & safety, and food safety at all times. Support colleagues and work as part of a team to deliver excellent guest experiences. Requirements: Previous experience in a hotel, restaurant, or bar environment is desirable but not essential full training will be provided. Strong customer service and communication skills. A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn. Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including breakfast and evenings. As a Kitchen Porter, you will play an essential role in supporting the chefs and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen. Responsibilities: Ensure the kitchen and all food preparation areas are kept clean, tidy, and safe at all times. Operate dishwashers to clean crockery, cutlery, and cooking equipment. Hand-wash large pots, pans, and kitchen utensils as required. Assist chefs with basic food preparation and deliveries when needed. Ensure correct storage and handling of all kitchen equipment and cleaning materials. Empty bins, manage waste disposal, and ensure recycling procedures are followed. Comply with all food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations. Work efficiently as part of a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Requirements: Previous experience in a kitchen porter or cleaning role is desirable but not essential. Strong work ethic and ability to handle physical tasks (lifting, carrying, standing for long periods). Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and evenings.
