Lead MEP Coordinator - Ballycoolin, Dublin
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Lead MEP Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the coordination of MEP services within a project.
The ideal candidate will have experience working on large MEP contracts for new build housing and commercial projects. They will be proficient in Revit 3D modeling and drawing production, with advanced setup and family creation skills being an advantage.
In addition, the candidate will have experience using Navisworks for clash detection and model management. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential, as is the ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications.
The role requires a high level of autonomy, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English are required, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Key Responsibilities:
* Liaise with design teams and main contractors to ensure that client requirements are met
* Develop detailed Revit models of MEP systems
* Generate construction plans, sections, and detail drawings from Revit models
* Setup additional Revit families and templates
* Manage clashes and issues during the coordination process
* Lead coordination meetings with other disciplines and clients
Requirements:
A relevant third-level certification in a related engineering discipline or a relevant trade qualification is required. In addition, the following skills and qualifications are essential:
* Revit 3D modeling and drawing production experience
* Advanced Revit setup and family creation skills
* Experience using Navisworks for clash detection and model management
* Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and specifications
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Outlook, Excel, and Word
