About The Role
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will develop embedded software for Analog Devices’ Datacenters & Energy business unit. Your work will contribute to cutting‑edge power‑management solutions that enhance data‑center resilience and performance while meeting the highest security, reliability, and real‑time standards.
Responsibilities
Design and develop high‑performance real‑time embedded applications on ARM Cortex‑M microcontrollers in C programming language.
Create comprehensive documentation to support firmware design and communicate key concepts across teams.
Participate in code reviews and improve software standard guidelines.
Develop and execute software unit and integration test plans.
Develop and review tools for testing and interfacing with the product.
Analyze test results to ensure correct functionality and implement corrective actions.
Collaborate daily with geographically distributed Silicon Designers, Embedded Software Engineers, Applications Engineers, QA Engineers, and other team members to develop software, resolve bugs, and identify missing requirements.
Provide customer support during beta trials and post‑release.
Develop customer‑facing documentation and training materials as needed.
Ensure compliance with ADI licensing practices, code origin control, and documentation standards.
Mentor junior team members.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of architecting, developing, and launching high‑performance, high‑resilience real‑time embedded systems.
5+ years managing globally distributed engineering teams.
Proven track record building and scaling embedded engineering organizations.
Technical Expertise
Strong C/C++ development and debugging skills.
Deep knowledge of ARM Cortex and RiscV architectures.
Experience in real‑time embedded systems, both bare‑metal and RTOS.
Knowledge of best practices in software QA.
Knowledge of Digital Signal Processing techniques.
Experience working with agile methodologies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Additional Information
Travel: Up to 10%.
