Kennedys is a multi-award winning hospitality group that operates in Dublin and has recently opened a new restaurant & bakery location in Castlebar, Co Mayo.
We are currently looking to hire an experienced Restaurant/Cafe Manager for this daytime only role, who enjoys working with customers in a busy environment, to lead our Castlebar FOH Team with a lead by example ethos.
Key attributes for the role include;
Leadership: demonstrate real experience of leadership, understands that fostering a welcoming environment for guests is our purpose and leads in creating a positive respectful collaborative team culture (backed by references)
Communication: is a genuine, authentic communicator and is motivated to warmly welcome every customer
Costs: proven ability on cost management i.e. implement and manage stock control systems, GP maintenance & ordering systems, staff rostering
Organisation: proven ability to think, plan & work in an organised and structured manner implementing Kennedys Group established values, order of service, etc.
Presentation: cares about detail and the careful maintenance & presentation of the retail and dining spaces
Regulatory: high level of awareness & experience on the maintenance of HACCP and Health & Safety procedures in the restaurant environment
The position is daytime hours.
We are open for business 7 days a week.
A working week is 5 days, generally ***** hours with some seasonal variation.
We do not work nights
