Head of IT *** Hybrid working *** Excellent Salary + Benefits
We are working very closely with a client of ours that provides asset and liability management services. They manage a complex portfolio of public assets and liabilities.
They are looking for a Head of IT to come on board and join the team. This role will be based in Dublin and is offering a hybrid working model.
The Head of ICT will position ICT as a transformative and value-driving function, ensuring technology capabilities are aligned with the business strategic priorities. The role requires a dynamic leader with deep expertise in emerging technologies, stakeholder engagement, and digital change management.
Key Responsibilities
Define and implement the ICT strategy in alignment with organisational goals.
Lead the transformation of ICT into a proactive, innovative, and business-enabling function.
Drive enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives to enhance efficiency, agility, and data-driven decision-making.
Monitor and evaluate emerging technologies (AI, automation, cloud, cybersecurity) for strategic relevance.
Represent ICT on programme boards, risk governance committees, and strategic planning forums.
Oversee delivery of ICT programmes and projects, ensuring quality, timeliness, and alignment with business outcomes.
Promote a culture of quality, compliance, and risk awareness across ICT.
Implement robust cybersecurity and data governance frameworks.
Lead ICT budgeting, resource planning, and cost optimisation.
Ensure strategic investment in technology capabilities.
Skills and Experience
Proven leadership experience in a Head of ICT or equivalent strategic technology role.
Demonstrated success in leading enterprise digital transformation.
Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, data governance, and emerging technologies.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at Board and executive levels.
Experience in regulated environments or public sector organisations is advantageous.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Relevant certifications in digital transformation enterprise architecture or similar are desirable.
