o join their growing Team- The brand- has obtained investment and is backed by Bord Bia- and they are now in a position to add to their team- this is a gem of an opportunity

This is a challenging role and a pivotal role to the Business- my client has secured over 400 store listings within the Convenience/ forecourt channel- and are looking to build on their early success.
A massive selling point are Tom and David – the Business owners–
I had a really good catch up with Tom and he said
" Its been a full on year – but a great one at that- Both Dave and I saw an opportunity to launch a new brand- we have put our heart and soul in to it- and it's beginning to pay off- As you know, Denis we have had recent investment; won a number of awards; gained more listings than anticipated and are now looking to break in to the Retail channel- This role is a crucial hire for us – a new hire- who will cover the Dublin/ Leinster region – you will be the brand guardian and I am looking for someone who can build relationships with the trade; making sure that everything that has been agreed at head office is implemented but crucially someone who can spot opportunities to drive rate of sales and increased distribution.
Personally, I think aside from the Brand and our success to date and ambitious plans to grow, you the will gain invaluable learnings as you will be asked to sit in on top level negotiations with Senior buyers and there is room for career progression to grow in to an Account Manager role down the line. A key for me Denis is someone who is smart but has real passion ; can demonstrate initiative and take hold of the role and run with it- and if they show this, Dave and I will back them 100%"
NB For this role, you must have a clean drivers licence and Irish FMCG experience

and be based in Dublin/ surrounding areas
and ideally have 1-3 years sales experience. Base Salary is neg- really depends on experience and comes with a bonus of circa 10%-15% ; company car/ car allowance ; lunch allowance.
As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for:
* Actively market & promoting the brand within the various channels. ( approx 5-8 calls per day)
* Build strong direct & indirect route to market business
* Achievement of key objectives- with a real focus on driving rate of sale and increased distribution.
* Execute promotion & visibility within the channel
* Be aware and report on competitor and industry update
* Any other duties and responsibilities which management deem appropriate from time to time
* Deliver high standards of credit management across customer base
Key Requirements
* Previous experience in FMCG sales is essential and a passion for health Foods/ brands is advantageous.
* Excellent communication & customer care skills
* Third level qualification in business, marketing or sales preferable but not essential
* Full clean driving license ; Fluent written and spoken English
* A passion for completing all tasks to the highest standard
* Interpersonal skills with the ability to build both internal & external relationships
Personality Profile
* An outgoing personality capable of communicating effectively with a wide variety of customers and colleagues
* Someone with great attention to detail and can take ownership
