Job Title: Senior Strategy Analyst Department: Commercial Office Reports to: Head of Strategic Projects Date: 2025 We are seeking a Senior Strategy Analyst to join our Strategic Projects team within the Beacon Hospital. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the hospitals ambitious growth agenda, supporting and leading both commercial growth and long-term strategic initiatives. The Senior Strategy Analyst will: Work closely with the Head of Strategic Projects, Commercial Director, wider hospital leadership team, and our shareholder (Macquarie Asset Management) to shape, analyse and deliver on the organisations strategic priorities. Provide robust analysis and insights to inform decision-making across service development, market expansion, investment projects, and operational performance. Support the preparation of high-quality board papers and management presentations. Lead research and modelling for new business opportunities (e.g. service line expansion, M&A, partnerships, capacity planning). Analyse healthcare market trends, competitor activity, and policy developments, and translate findings into actionable recommendations. Drive business case development for capital projects and new service lines, working cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, and Clinical leadership. Contribute to the delivery of strategic projects. This role is highly visible across the organisation and offers strong exposure to senior leadership and our shareholder team. What Were Looking For Background / Experience 3+ years experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, healthcare investment/Private Equity. Strong academic background (business, economics, healthcare management, finance, or related discipline). Proven track record in market analysis, financial modelling, and strategic analytics. Experience in acute healthcare strongly preferred, but candidates from other PE-backed or capital-intensive service sectors (e.g. pharma, or private equity portfolio companies) will also be considered. Experience preparing board-level or investor-facing materials. Relevant Capabilities Exceptional analytical skills: ability to turn complex data into actionable insights and compelling recommendations. Strong financial acumen: skilled in financial modelling, business case development, and performance tracking. Strategic thinker with the ability to balance detail orientation and big-picture perspective. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders. Highly organised, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
