Scientific Instrumentation Engineer Role
We are seeking an experienced Service Engineer to work onsite at our client's location in Waterford. As a Scientific Instrumentation Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficiency of our operations.
1. Servicing and maintaining complex scientific instrumentation, specializing in HPLC & UPLC systems.
2. Performing installation qualification (IQ), operational qualification (OQ), and performance qualification (PQ) of chromatography systems.
3. Providing training to other scientific staff and customers on the effective utilization of equipment.
4. Diagnosing faults on complex scientific equipment and providing prompt, flexible, and customer-focused support.
5. Managing equipment parts and spare parts.
Requirements for Success
* NVQ 3 in engineering or equivalent.
* Previous experience servicing complex scientific instrumentation from various instrument vendors.
* Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
* Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
