Job Description
Sasta Le Cheile Ltd. trading as Sasta by the River is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead the daily operations of our high‑volume restaurant, ensuring an exceptional guest experience, a motivated and efficient team, and the highest standards of quality, cleanliness, and profitability.
Key Functions
Plan, direct, and coordinate front‑of‑house and back‑of‑house operations to ensure seamless service delivery.
Coordinate workflows across kitchen and service teams during peak service periods.
Oversee food quality, presentation and compliance with food safety, hygiene and health and safety regulations.
Manage guest relations, special occasions, events and group bookings.
Monitor inventory levels, control waste and manage costs to support financial targets.
Determine staffing, material and operational requirements across all service periods.
Contribute to menu planning and event coordination in collaboration with kitchen teams.
Requirements
5 years’ experience in a related role in a high‑volume restaurant or catering environment, and a relevant qualification in hospitality, tourism or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
Desirable Skills
Multilingual communication skills—fluency in one or more additional languages is an advantage.
Creative sensibility with an interest in atmosphere, ambience and the experiential aspects of hospitality.
Experience coordinating culturally diverse teams across linguistic backgrounds.
Knowledge of food and wine culture and experiential hospitality.
Location: Unit 27, Manor Mills, Sc Mill Street, Maynooth, Co. Kildare.
Hours: 39 hours per week.
Contract: Permanent, Full‑Time.
Minimum annual remuneration: €36,605.
