Role Profile Reporting to the Senior Product Manager, the Digital Technical Analyst is responsible for website and page builds, configuration, content updates, bug management, CRs, and technical project planning for our most important websites across the company.
The role requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills to ensure issues are identified, and a strong collaborative approach ensuring the implementation of effective resolutions.
Ultimately, this role is responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technical requirements to drive continuous improvement through the relevant digital channels.
Responsibilities: Build, create and update websites across the organisation, working with various different platforms, applications and tools Manage content updates, page builds, and publishing workflows Support content teams with CMS updates and troubleshooting Oversee daily website operations and ensure consistent uptime Work with internal brands to manage and maintain content updates required across all websites Manage CMS updates, plugin maintenance, and platform upgrades Monitor site performance (speed, responsiveness, load times) Ensure mobile responsiveness and cross browser compatibility-browser compatibility Investigate and resolve website bugs, errors, and broken functionality and triage incidents as appropriate Liaise with developers or vendors to implement fixes Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues-cause analysis for recurring issues Maintain error logs and track technical incidents Monitor security vulnerabilities and coordinate patches Manage SSL certificates, cookie compliance, and privacy notices Ensure GDPR and data handling compliance-handling compliance Performing analysis and documentation of as-is capabilities to recommend appropriate applications/technology to improve Assist in testing, product and application functionality, troubleshooting solutions or assigning issues to relevant teams as required Co-ordinate on-going system / applications enhancements and change requests Act as a technical point of contact with other internal IT teams and external 3rd party vendors to; plan projects, implement CRs, investigate issues and provide effective resolutions Input into technical project planning and management, helping the project to meet deadlines, business and budget objectives Requirements 3rd level qualification in a Technical degree (Computer Applications, Computer Science, Information Systems, Digital Technology etc. ), related field 2+ years experience within a similar role Experience with content management systems such as Drupal, WordPress, SharePoint Readable knowledge with HTML/ CSS Focused on and driven to provide the highest quality of outputs for client and customer service Creative and effective problem solving skills A positive can-do attitude
