Finance Manager Position Overview
This is a key leadership role within the finance department, requiring strong technical and interpersonal skills to support the growth and development of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Financial Reporting: Lead the preparation of month-end accounts and group submissions within tight deadlines.
* Control Account Reconciliations: Complete control account reconciliations with accuracy and efficiency.
* Forecasting and Budgeting: Assist in the preparation of forecasts, budgets, and statutory accounts, ensuring timely submission and accuracy.
* Tax Compliance: Handle VAT returns, including Making Tax Digital (MTD) submissions, and manage supplier rebate calculations and reporting.
* Audit Support: Oversee the external audit process to ensure a successful outcome, managing lease requirements and maintaining the group lease management system.

Requirements:
* Qualifications: Qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent)
* Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a senior finance role
* Skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent time management skills
